My Resume
I have a BE in Electronics Engineering from the University of Mumbai, India, an MSc in Medical Imaging from the University of Surrey, U.K. and an MASc in Electrical & Computer Engineering from the University of British Columbia, Canada
I also have completed courses in Machine Learning and Deep Learning at Udacity and have completed a course in Mathematical Finance & Data Science from the Lantern Institute in Toronto.
I have worked as a signal processing engineer at a Brain Imaging startup in Toronto called Cerebral Diagnostics Canada Inc. I have then researched better algorithms for treating atrial fibrillation at Toronto General Hospital's Cardiology Department. My work there has resulted in several publications and a couple of patents. A brief list of publications is below.
Prior to my current job, I worked as a risk analyst at the Bank of Montreal where, among other things, I managed to squeeze in a proposal for using machine learning to replace existing, expensive processes - for which I won a prize for innovation.
I currently work as a Data Scientist at Teknobuilt, Canada where I work on various construction themed data science related projects.
